Time after time on my card stall I am asked for birthday cards for men because they are so hard to buy for! I am delighted to say we have a wonderful selection for men.

All our cards are £2.50 each or £2 each when you buy 10 or more assorted cards, so they are excellent value too! Here are some of my suggestions for cards for men from the current Flamingo Paperie card range.

Of course sporting ones and drinks ones are often the first choices for men’s cards, but they aren’t always suitable. Happily there are many alternatives to these in our range! King for the day has been very popular, along with the Happy Birthday stars and the Birthday candles.

There are also many which can be used for men, women or children! As all of our cards are blank inside you don’t have to worry that the message isn’t suitable, as you can write your own message suited for the man you are sending it to. This makes our card range really flexible.

Of course thank you cards are not just for teachers! Many who visit my pop-up card shop keep a stock of thank you cards in hand for when they need them. I’ll admit so far these are quite floral! Father’s Day in the UK is on 18th June this year (2023). I have two cards from Holy Mackerel which are perfect for father’s day! These are blank inside so you can add your own personal message.

Here are some of my suggestions for Father’s Day cards from the Flamingo Paperie card range. All our cards are blank inside, which means you can select the one which is perfect for the recipient and then write your own Father’s Day message inside.

Perhaps your dad loves gardening, or coffee or golf? A great scenic card is also a fabulous option for a dad that loves getting away on holiday.

There is also a fabulous range of nature themed cards here are three of my favourites and these are also popular with my customer too, for many different occasions.

Here are some of my suggestions for birthday cards for teenagers from the Flamingo Paperie card range. Of course there are lots of cake options! All of our cards are blank inside so you don’t need to worry about the message being appropriate or not.

Flamingo Paperie cards are excellent value at £2.40 each, or £1.90 each when you buy 10 or more assorted cards. Once you get to 10 cards then they are all £1.90, excellent value!

Do you send cards for Easter? The tradition of sending Easter postcards to relatives and friends developed during the end of the 19th century. During my research into Easter card sending traditions I found this fabulous article by the BBC The Odd World of Victorian Easter Cards. What can I say? Card designs have certainly come on a bit!

Whether you are religious or not, sending a card for Easter can certainly brighten someone’s day and make them smile.
